Second episode was slightly slower paced, but I don't expect any anime to be the same pace throughout.

I'm considering watching this outside of club but I might not since it's my favourite show on Fridays so I don't really want to ruin it for myself and end up enjoying Fridays less as a result.

Anyway, tis good stuff, a nice surprise from this series.

I love this anime.
The moon being lit up because it's populated now really tickled me.
The show has mechas but not in the usual way. Not kicking arse and fighting wars but playing basketball?!
And what are those creatures that become hats e.t.c. Whatever they are, I want one. They're pretty cool.

I wasn't sure if I'd seen this one or not but it turns out that I hadn't. I agree that the pace does seem to have slowed down a lot but it's introducing new characters ten to the dosen!
